Southside Theatre Guild in downtown Fairburn will present the award winning play “Tuesdays with Morrie” for two weekends, February 24 - March 6. "Tuesdays With Morrie", is adapted from Mitch Albom’s runaway bestseller of the same name. The touching, humorous and unforgettable true story shares the friendship between Mitch, an accomplished sports journalist and Morrie, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch catches Morrie's appearance on a television news program and they reunite. What starts as a simple visit to say goodbye turns into a weekly pilgrimage and one final class on the meaning of life. (Was also adapted into a TV movie staring Jack Lemmon and Hank Anzaria.)
